Normal. I don't think such a state actually exists and if it does who defines it? One man's normal is another man's nightmare and that same nightmare is someone else's dream. We each have our own puzzle of a life to figure out, to fit and shape together as we feel to but often we are caught up in comparisons and lose the joy of that shaping. Jennie and I got together again to talk about how our puzzles are looking in the midst of the global pause. We're encouraging ourselves and you my friends, to take an inventory of where you are right now and where you'd like to be on the other side of this, an exercise in designing your own new normal. What have you lost in this lockdown; activities, friendships, commitments, stresses, peace? What have you found; pace, peace, family time, loneliness, anxiety?
"God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before him." The Message, Psalm 18
As we move into a new phase of managing this pandemic, now is the time to be intentional about our choices. Join Jennie and I as we chat about what it looks like to learn from this time and look ahead to the next season.
