The Quarantine Diaries: Creating Rhythms & Anchors For A Sustainable Lockdown

How's it going friends? Happy Monday, yes it is Monday :)

My dear friend Jennie Nelson and I got together via Zoom today and re-recorded (thanks IG Live for eating the first one!) a conversation we've been having about finding rhythm and anchors in a season of change. How do you find your feet when the rug has been pulled out from under you?

Jennie and I have been friends since 2016 when we first met at a training retreat with author Sally Clarkson in Colorado Springs. I love how God ambushes you with His best when you least expect it. Jennie has been a steady source of friendship, laughter and wise counsel to my heart ever since. Since meeting we've also spent time together with our families when mine took a USA road trip last September, it was while staying with Jennie and her family I was introduced to Corn Hole (now look that up) and life is the richer for it :D

So across the pond from London to Idaho we shared ideas and hearts regarding navigating this new normal. I hope you find it encouraging. How are you getting on in your little corner, is routine something you need or are you up for the endless summer? I think we're all different and unique in ourselves and families and believe God is walking with each of us to lean daily into the unforced rhythms of grace (Matt 11:28 MSG). Let us know your thoughts, questions and any feedback, let's stay connected.

With Love,

Jacqui & Jennie X
