A Dying and a Coming Fully Alive

July 29, 2019

And then they are gone.

And then?

I have today to love well,

to play

to plan

to invest

to sow, to nurture

to harvest

to hold and harbour

to feed and comfort

to laugh and lament.

What are my desires?

They are sirens of satisfaction

clouds, vapours, half loves.

But you,

you require all of me

depths unknown

broken, torn

a dying.

A coming fully alive.
